Kids Country, part of BrightPath Kids and Busy Bees global childcare, is hiring an Associate Center Director in Cincinnati, OH area.

You will work with the Center Director, teachers, and families to provide a home away from home for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. Responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, and leadership to create a professional, motivating work environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required
• 2+ years of childcare or teaching experience preferred
• Demonstrated leadership qualities
• Must work independently with Microsoft Office
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Must meet state criteria for childcare employment

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Ensure staff understand objectives and expectations in each classroom.
• Assist Center Director with licensing requirements and internal policies.
• Understand, manage, and track expenses, revenue, and budgeting goals.
• Substitute as Center Director when needed.
• Lead and motivate staff to maintain professional environment.
• Review staffing needs, scheduling, and classroom assignments.
• Maintain effective communication with children, parents, and staff.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

As an Associate Center Director, you will work with the Center Director, teachers, and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
• Ensure that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Assist the Center Director with adherence to childcare licensing requirements as well as internal policies of the company.
• Understand, manage, and track expenses, revenue, and goals for annual budgeting.
• Substituting as Center Director in the event of their absence.
• Serve as a resource and leader to all personnel, striving to create and maintain a professional and motivating work environment.
• Review staffing needs, scheduling, and classroom assignments.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with children, parents and staff.
