Job summary

Fitness Factory Gym is seeking a friendly, dependable Front Desk / Child Care Associate to welcome members, assist with check-ins, and provide engaging care for children while parents work out. You will help create a positive gym experience and support families with age-appropriate activities in a safe environment.

Ideal candidates are personable, reliable, and possess strong communication skills. Prior customer service or child care experience is a plus; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Front Desk & Member Services: greet members, assist with check-ins, answer phones, keep front desk organized, deliver great customer service, assist with administrative tasks.
• Child Care: supervise children, ensure a safe, clean, welcoming environment, engage children in activities, follow safety policies, communicate with parents, keep area tidy and sanitized, report safety concerns to management.

Position Overview

As a Front Desk / Child Care Associate, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for our members and their families. This position combines front desk responsibilities, member service, and providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children.

Responsibilities

Front Desk & Member Services

• Greet members and guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
• Assist members with check-ins and general questions.
• Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
• Provide excellent customer service and help create a positive gym experience.
• Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.

Child Care

• Supervise children in the gym's designated child care area.
• Provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play.
• Follow all child care policies, safety procedures, and check-in/check-out protocols.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with parents.
• Keep the child care area clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents to management promptly.
