Job summary

Mindfully Behavioral Health seeks a dedicated BSW/LSW to provide therapeutic group services for children ages 3–8. You will create a safe, engaging environment, lead group day treatment psychoeducational sessions, and support treatment goals while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

This full-time role offers flexible scheduling within 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with ongoing training and paid CEUs, peer collaboration, back-office support, and a strong community that values

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and active license (BSW, LSW) required.
  • Passion for working with children ages 3–8.
  • Ability to work in a physically active setting and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate therapeutic group sessions (2.5-hour blocks).
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment for children.
  • Implement the Positive Leaps model of care and curriculum to support clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to communicate progress and coordinate care.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with Ohio laws and policies.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills in managing classroom dynamics.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated BSW, LSW to join our team and provide therapeutic group services for children ages 3–8. In this role, you will:

  • Create a safe, engaging, and supportive therapeutic environment for children.
  • Lead Group Day Treatment Psychoeducational sessions as the rendering provider.
  • Support treatment goals, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and work closely with the treatment team to achieve excellent outcomes.

  • Variable hours between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Compensation

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills in managing classroom dynamics.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and active license (BSW, LSW) required.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Passion for working with children ages 3–8.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically active setting and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
Work Environment & Considerations
  • Exposure to loud noise, including frequent crying or screaming.
  • Potential for physical aggression from children in care.
  • Possible exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
