Company Description

The Parent Train is a well established collaborative team of child and adolescent specialists. We have a cohesive group of mental health therapists, speech therapists, occupational therapy services, and currently 2 prescribers. In addition, we run a private child study team and have multiple contracts serving the surrounding counties care management organizations.

Role Description

This is a per-diem subcontract role for a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist located on-site in Riverdale, NJ. The Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating mental health disorders in children and adolescents. in addition, they would serve as the MD on record for our current PMHNP. Our team approach requires collaboration, comfort with practice EMR systems, and report writing. The ideal candidate will be on site a minimum of once per week with options for telehealth included.

Qualifications

• Adolescent Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry skills
• Medicine and Psychiatry skills
• Mental Health knowledge and experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Preferred
• State medical license to practice in New Jersey
• Experience in an on-site healthcare setting is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
