A leading medical institution in New York is seeking Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists to join a new Center for Childhood and Adolescent Behavioral Health. This role involves providing innovative care, participating in community partnerships, and supporting research and education missions. Ideal candidates will be board certified and have a passion for community engagement and diversity.
The Center will be staffed by an interdisciplinary team offering acute care services for children, adolescents, and their families. The vision for the Center is to develop crisis assessment, stabilization, and treatment services for the diverse communities served by NewYork-Presbyterian and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity for compassionate clinicians to provide creative and responsive evidence-based interventions for children and families in New York City and Westchester County.
Must be board certified or eligible in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and possess or be eligible for a New York State license. Academic-oriented candidates with experience in clinical supervision and scholarly activity will be strongly considered. A focus on community engagement is particularly appreciated for this role. Enthusiasm for recruiting clinicians from diverse backgrounds and world views is encouraged. Candidates who provide treatment in multiple languages are also encouraged to apply.
Minimum/Maximum Compensation: $295,000 per annum. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses, clinical incentive compensation, or benefits. Actual salaries depend on various factors including internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs.
