Job summary

Compass Health Center, based in Chicagoland, seeks a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to lead interdisciplinary teams in PHP/IOP care for patients aged 5–18. You will evaluate, diagnose, prescribe medications, and provide therapy while collaborating with family and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• BE or BC in Illinois.
• Licensed or ability to obtain Illinois Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DEA certification for the State of Illinois.
• Excellent communication skills and desire to work in a collaborative team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily care for patients in PHP/IOP programs ages 5-18.
• Conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing, prescribing medication, and providing therapy.
• Leading interdisciplinary clinical teams and making recommendations on treatment plans.
• Collaborating with family therapists, individual therapists, nurses, and psychiatrists.
• Average 10-12 patient visits per day.

What You'll Do

• Providing daily care for patients in our PHP/IOP programs ages 5-18

• Leading experienced, multi-disciplinary clinical teams and making overall recommendations on treatment plans
• Collaborating with family therapists, individual therapists, nurses, and psychiatrists
• Average 10-12 patient visits per day

Who You Are

• BE or BC in Illinois
• Licensed or ability to obtain Illinois Board of Medical Practice Licensure
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Illinois
• Skilled in the evaluation and treatment of mental illness
