Job summary

Children's Wisconsin seeks a CAC Coordinator to support children and families at the Child Advocacy Center. You will coordinate visits, provide crisis intervention, education, and referrals, plus brief case management after the first CAC contact.

Under the CAC Manager, you’ll perform psychosocial evaluations, liaise with investigators, and identify strengths to deliver consistent, high-quality care for every child.

Qualifications

• Two plus years of direct service experience in a community setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with diverse backgrounds.
• Adequate writing skills for forms, reports, and written materials.
• Demonstrates strong and creative problem solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of child growth and development and ability to provide counseling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates visits of all patients to the CAC and provides families and children support and advocacy.
• Provides crisis intervention, education, and referrals to community resources.
• Performs brief case management and follow-up after the initial CAC visit.
• Conducts psychosocial evaluation of children and families and serves as liaison between family/child and investigating agencies.
