Job summary

Northeast Health Services, a member of Transformations Care Network, is seeking a Child & Adolescent Therapist to join our behavioral health team. You will provide evidence-based outpatient therapy to children and families, while collaborating with a clinical team to support licensure and growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
• Experience in working with children and families.
• Provisional license per state regulation if required.
• Educational background that leads to professional licensing.
• Passionate about mental health and committed to high-quality care.
• Ongoing professional development including supervision and continuing education.
• Collaborative with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
• Strong ethical practice and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to manage time and complete documentation efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, creating a welcoming environment.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy based on each client’s needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse, and wellness plans to support stable functioning.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, admin staff, and fellow therapists.
