Columbia Mental Health is seeking a licensed Child & Adolescent Therapist to join our Transformations Care Network in Virginia. You will provide outpatient therapy, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to treatment planning and crisis safety for diverse youth and families.

We support growth through supervision, flexible scheduling, and ongoing professional development alongside a caring clinical staff focused on licensure and ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Provision license per state regulation, if required.
• Educational background leading to professional licensing.
• Passionate about mental health and committed to high-quality care.
• Ongoing professional development with free supervision and continuing education.
• Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to manage time and complete documentation efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy.
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and insurance forms.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists.
