Job summary

Columbia Mental Health, a member of Transformations Care Network (TCN), is seeking a Child & Adolescent Therapist to join our collaborative care team in Virginia. We support therapists during licensure and provide a clinical and administrative team to back your practice.

In this role you will conduct assessments, provide outpatient individual and family therapy, develop crisis and safety plans, participate in case conferences, and ensure timely documentation and billing, all while adhering to

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Provisional license per state regulation, if required.
• Educational background leading to professional licensing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, dietitians and other staff for holistic care.
