Job summary

Ellie Mental Health Itasca in the Chicago Western Suburbs invites licensed clinicians to join a private practice built on Creativity, Humor, Acceptance, Determination, Compassion and Authenticity.

You will evaluate diagnoses, create treatment plans, document sessions, maintain a caseload, coordinate with families and schools, and participate in staff trainings. We offer flexible scheduling, a warm office, and strong benefits with a patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral sciences from an accredited program.
• Pursuing or holding clinical licensure (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW, etc.).
• Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and clinical notes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients.
• Timely completion and submission of documentation.
• Comfort with a diverse client base.
• Familiar with office tech and EHR systems; Valant a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnosis and implement treatment plans, with ongoing documentation.
• Full-time clinicians maintain a minimum caseload of 27 client visits per week.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve goals.
• Prepare and submit session documentation per guidelines.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, school staff, and other Ellie personnel.
• Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings.
