Job summary

A leading outpatient mental health clinic is seeking a Psychologist to conduct evaluations for children and adolescents in a juvenile detention center. Responsibilities include risk assessments, monitoring behavioral health, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The role requires a Doctoral degree in psychology, Maryland licensure, and at least 3 years of experience. This contractual position offers flexible scheduling and begins with training in February 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a juvenile detention center.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and adolescent development.
• Willing to complete federal and local background checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for mental health concerns.
• Monitor youth for suicidal ideation and other behavioral incidents.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
