Job summary

Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Bedford, PA is seeking a Mental Health Worker to join the Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program. The MHW will work with teachers and a therapeutic team to support students' emotional and behavioral health as outlined in treatment plans.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in social services or education and has at least one year of experience with children and families; experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social service or education field is required.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children and families; experience in a mental health capacity preferred.
• Must be able to obtain Act 33, Act 34 and FBI clearances.

Responsibilities

• Monitor classroom behaviors and support emotional/behavioral health as per treatment plans.
• Provide direct supervision of students and participate in treatment planning and documentation.
• Conduct direct therapeutic group activities and crisis interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers and other MHWs/MHPs as part of a therapeutic team.
