Job summary

New Directions in Uniontown, PA is seeking an Individual Therapist for our Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program. The role provides one-on-one therapy to youths aged 5-21, develops treatment plans, engages families, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support progress and recovery.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in a behavioral health field, PA license eligibility, and experience with youth behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
• License eligibility in PA (LPC/LCSW/LMFT/LSW) per Commonwealth requirements.
• Experience with children/adolescents and families with behavioral health challenges.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and therapy skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults in PHP.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and contribute to admissions and treatment planning.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans with clients and families.
• Coordinate care with families, schools, and other providers.
