Job summary

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in a Human Service field preferred; other education/experience may substitute per Hiring Manager.
• Must demonstrate aptitude and willingness to learn role-related skills.
• Experience working with children/adolescents in a psychiatric setting or similar environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment; engage with assigned children during the shift and support milieu care planning.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic hygiene; document observations per shift and communicate with the RN.
• Participate in crisis management, restraint debriefings, and incident reporting as required.
• Support treatment team in care planning, family interactions, and ongoing milieu/care plan communication.
