Job summary

Riverside Community Care in Somerville, MA is seeking a Child Access Supervisor on a relief basis. You will observe visits between children and non-custodial parents, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment and documenting interactions during visits.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, facilitating parent-child interactions, and intervening as needed to protect the child’s well-being. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred, with a $0.96 language differential for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Common sense and maturity required.
• Be able to effectively set limits with others.
• Valid driver's license and regular access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and friendly visitation environment for all participants and support positive interactions between children and parents during visits.
• Facilitate and document parent-child interactions.
• Intervene or redirect interactions if needed.
• Ensure the child's physical and emotional well-being during each visit.
