City of Weston, Missouri - Chief Water Production Operator

The City of Weston, Missouri, is hiring a Chief Water Production Operator. The applicant must be able to perform responsible skilled and lead work, ensuring the proper and effective operation of a water treatment plant and constructed well fields. Position may require shift work. Salary is based on experience.

Minimum qualifications include a Class C water production license issued by the State of Missouri.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Take water samples and complete laboratory tests on chlorine, water chemistry, and iron; properly adjust chemicals for the treatment process.
2. Complete rounds to evaluate treatment process, chemical feeders, basin trains, and chemical analyzers for proper usage.
3. Record data from meters, gauges, control panels, and adjust chemical feed equipment for proper chemical feed rates.
4. Order and stock laboratory and treatment plant supplies as needed.
