Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in our fast-paced environment, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Manage civil infrastructure and utility projects related to water and wastewater
• Lead teams to successfully deliver projects
• Prepare and review preliminary and final plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates, making recommendations as needed
• Work with the design team on resource allocation and project budgets
• Manage the preparation of engineering reports, plans, and specifications
• Supervise and monitor the design and progress of projects
• Coordinate with city, state, and county officials, contractors, and clients
• Proficient in CADD / Civil 3D techniques and principles

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in NY or NJ
• Minimum 15 years of water/wastewater engineering experience, including design and construction of full wastewater treatment plants
• Pipe flow modeling experience
• Water treatment plant design experience (a plus)
• Lift station design experience (a plus)
• Entrepreneurial mindset

• Ability to collaborate in a remote/hybrid environment
• Excellent communication skills
