Job summary

One Physics seeks a Chief Therapy Medical Physicist to lead the Indianapolis physics program while staying clinically engaged and guiding the dosimetry team. You will partner closely with Radiation Oncology leadership, supervise the physics staff, and ensure high standards of patient care across facilities.

The role involves overseeing complex treatment technology, establishing QA programs, aligning with clinicians and executives on capital budgets, and maintaining strict regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or PhD in Medical Physics.
• ABR Therapeutic Medical Physics board certification or CAMPEP residency eligibility.
• 5+ years of clinical Therapy Medical Physics with leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret regulations.
• Willingness to go above and beyond for clients.
• Demonstrate initiative, organization, and ownership of daily tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise medical physics team, dosimetrists, and physics assistants.
• Oversee complex treatment tech and QA programs following AAPM guidelines.
• Partner with Radiation Oncologists, Therapists, Executives, and Vendors to optimize efficiency and budgets.
• Monitor equipment in Radiation Oncology to ensure safety and performance.
• Maintain regulatory agency records and reports.
• Analyze treatment plans and supervise dosimetry planning functions.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
