Job summary

Texas Oncology seeks a Chief Certified (Therapeutic) Medical Physicist to join the El Paso team. Based in Grandview with support to Gateway, the role involves oversight of clinical radiation physics in a multi-site setting and collaboration with a full healthcare team.

The candidate will oversee radiation therapy planning, QA, and equipment performance for SRS, SBRT, and HDR programs, contributing to high-quality, high-touch cancer care.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Physics/Medical Physics is required.
• ABR certification or CAMPEP residency and board eligibility is required.
• Minimum seven years of experience in clinical radiation physics is required.
• Texas Medical Board license is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate listed radiation therapy equipment including TrueBeam, Trilogy, 21iX, and HDR.
• Use CT simulator, PET/CT, Eclipse, MOSAIQ R&V, RadCalc, and SNC Mapcheck2 in daily planning and QA.
