Responsibilities

• Define and execute the organization’s technology vision, roadmap, and governance strategy.
• Evaluate existing applications and systems to determine opportunities for consolidation, modernization, or replacement.
• Lead technology architecture decisions across infrastructure, cloud, applications, and security.
• Identify and implement AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency and create business value.
• Partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with business objectives and revenue goals.
• Oversee IT operations including infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, and vendor management.
• Ensure security, privacy, and reliability of company systems and data.
• Manage technology budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships while driving cost optimization.
• Lead and develop a high-performing technology team.
• Establish project management and delivery processes for on-time, on-budget initiatives.
• Support system availability and business continuity for critical operations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation.

Job Overview

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will lead the organization’s overall technology strategy, infrastructure, and operations while partnering closely with executive leadership to drive business growth. This role is responsible for evaluating and optimizing the technology ecosystem, identifying opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies, improving operational efficiency, and building scalable solutions that support both internal business needs and future commercial opportunities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technology leader who can balance strategic planning with technical execution.

• Establish project management and delivery processes to ensure technology initiatives are completed on time and within budget.

Preferred Experience of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

• Progressive IT leadership experience, including management of technology teams.
• Proven success leading technology transformation, modernization, or technology stack optimization initiatives.
• Strong prior hands-on experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure, enterprise systems, and application development.
• Experience supporting & managing enterprise environments including Active Directory, endpoint management, virtualization, collaboration platforms, and cloud services.
• Experience managing multi-site technology environments and enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, governance, and risk management best practices.
• Experience implementing AI or automation solutions to improve business outcomes.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for executive stakeholders.
• Strong ability to collaborate with executive leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)

Bonus Experience of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

• Experience turning internal technology solutions into client-facing products or commercial offerings.
• Experience supporting revenue-generating technology initiatives and product strategies.
• Experience creating or brining a product to market.
• Background in SaaS, technology product development, or platform commercialization.
