Designed for engineering and product teams, it analyzes activity across GitHub, Slack, Jira, and Linear to surface execution risks, identify blockers, and automate sprint retros and standups. SprintIQ helps small teams move faster with clarity, making it easier to ship features, track progress, and course-correct in real time. We're currently in early access and looking to scale with a product-led growth motion.

Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The CTO intern will lead the technical vision for SprintIQ, owning architectural decisions, platform scalability, and integration strategy. You’ll work directly with the founder to shape the future of the product, ship features, and implement feedback from early customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include system design, backend development, managing cloud deployments, and guiding technical roadmap decisions to align with product goals.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with full-stack development (preferably using TypeScript, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and Prisma)
• Experience with AI tools (OpenAI API, vector databases, or similar) is a plus
• Solid understanding of system architecture and API integrations
• Familiarity with tools like GitHub, Slack, Jira, and Linear
• Experience managing or contributing to early-stage SaaS products
• Excellent leadership, prioritization, and communication skills
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Compensation

This is a high-impact role with long-term upside. While the internship is early-stage, outstanding contributors will be well-compensated through a mix of performance-based incentives, future equity considerations, and flexible structuring depending on involvement and value brought to the company.
