Job summary

Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct hire Chief Technology Officer role with our client, fully remote in the United States.

The CTO will own technology strategy, architecture and engineering standards across the Group, providing technical leadership across multiple businesses while staying hands-on with systems and execution.

Qualifications

• Deep software engineering background with experience building and scaling production systems.
• Strong knowledge of backend systems, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Experience making architecture decisions across multiple products or engineering teams.
• Strong technical judgement and ability to challenge engineering decisions at implementation level.
• Capable of building world‑class engineering teams.
• Still technically hands‑on - able to review code, architecture, incidents and difficult engineering problems directly.

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct hire Chief Technology Officer with our client that is fully remote.

Job Description: The CTO will own technology strategy, architecture and engineering standards across the Group. This is a technical leadership role for someone who can operate across multiple businesses while remaining close to systems, architecture and engineering execution.
