Job summary

Cincinnati Country Day School seeks a visionary director of technology to lead all aspects of the school's technology program, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and instructional technology initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, educational tech, information systems, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressively responsible technology leadership experience.
• Experience managing enterprise technology environments.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft cloud and on-premises technologies.
• Experience leading cybersecurity, infrastructure, systems administration, and network operations.
• Strong financial management and budgeting experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a multi-year technology vision aligned with school priorities.
• Advise school leadership on technology strategy, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and digital transformation.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate technology personnel and external providers.
• Build and manage technology operating and capital budgets.
• Oversee procurement, vendor relationships, contracts, and software licensing.
• Establish governance, policies, standards, and best practices.
• Lead risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative leaders to enhance teaching, learning, and operations.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and AI governance relevant to education.
