Job summary

Miami Valley School in Dayton, Ohio seeks a Director of Technology to lead the technology department, oversee infrastructure, cybersecurity, and EdTech initiatives. The role partners with administration, faculty, and staff to advance immersive learning and digital literacy aligned with the school’s mission.

The director will manage devices, networks, security, and vendor relationships, while driving professional learning and strategic technology planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years in educational technology, with senior leadership or director-level experience preferred.
• Experience managing departmental budgets and enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Vision & EdTech Integration: align technology roadmap with strategic planning and AI/digital literacy trends.
• Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Oversight: manage enterprise systems, network security, data privacy, and disaster recovery.
