Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate is seeking a senior technology leader to drive strategic direction, operational excellence, and advancement of technology infrastructure across the health system.

The role reports to the CIO and oversees networks, security, storage, servers, AD, email, desktop/mobile, data centers, and cloud strategy, ensuring reliability, scalability, and regulatory compliance to support patient care.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including senior roles.
• Proven track record managing enterprise-scale infrastructure transformations (cloud migrations, data center consolidations, network modernization).
• Experience in or familiarity with integrated health systems, academic medical centers, or multi-site healthcare delivery organizations.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive a multi-year enterprise technology and infrastructure roadmap aligned with health system goals.
• Lead evaluation, selection, and governance of technology platforms including cloud, on-premise, and hybrid architectures.
• Oversee ITSM practices including incident, problem, change, and capacity management; manage vendor relationships and contracts.
