Over the last 30 years, Blueair has built a team of creative thinkers, health enthusiasts, and innovators who are passionate about our impactful products. We are seeking to add to our entrepreneurial and dynamic culture with a Chief Supply Chain Officer.

Position Description

The Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) leads Blueair’s global supply chain, including demand planning, supply planning, sales & operations planning (S&OP), inventory optimization, assortment and portfolio planning, and logistics and fulfillment. Blueair moves fast. We are launching innovation across DTC, Amazon, and omnichannel retail, expanding into new categories, and growing in markets around the world, often all at the same time. This executive role owns the strategy and execution required to keep pace with that growth and ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time, utilizing both direct distribution and distributor partners.

This is a global leadership position that oversees a team of 13, including direct reports in Chicago, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. The CSCO works closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, Customer Experience, and our global leadership team to align our operations with our commercial objectives, and manages strategic relationships with our logistics partners to ensure scalable, efficient, and high-performing operations.

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and operationally rigorous leader who combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. They are energized by a fast‑paced innovation environment, comfortable navigating complexity, excited about using technology to build scalable systems, and skilled at influencing cross‑functional stakeholders and leading through periods of growth and change.

Responsibilities & Functions
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
  • Co‑lead the global S&OP process with our CFO and establish clear planning strategies to guide forecasting, inventory management, and operational decision‑making
  • Continuously improve our demand planning capabilities to provide accurate, data‑driven forecasts across channels and geographies
  • Ensure planning processes keep pace with a fast‑moving innovation pipeline, including new product launches and entry into new categories across global markets
  • Translate demand plans into actionable supply and inventory plans that balance service levels, inventory risk, and operational efficiency
  • Partner closely with commercial, finance, and procurement teams to align operational planning with business objectives
Inventory Optimization, Assortment & Portfolio Planning
  • Own global inventory positioning across all channels, fulfillment centers, and markets
  • Lead assortment planning and portfolio management in partnership with Marketing and Sales, shaping the right SKU mix by channel and market
  • Own open‑to‑buy planning to balance growth investment, inventory health, and working capital
  • Manage product lifecycle transitions, including phase‑in of new launches and phase‑out of end‑of‑life SKUs, to minimize excess and obsolete inventory while preventing stockouts
  • Develop inventory policies by channel and SKU that optimize service levels and working capital
  • Monitor inventory health, forecast accuracy, and operational KPIs to drive continuous improvement
  • Provide decision‑support analysis and operational insights to leadership teams
Supply Chain Technology, AI & Operational Excellence
  • Help lead Blueair’s AI investment within supply chain, identifying and implementing AI‑enabled tools that improve forecasting, planning, and decision‑making
  • Transform manual planning and reporting processes into scalable, automated systems that create end‑to‑end supply chain visibility
  • Lead operational excellence initiatives focused on scalability, efficiency, service improvement, and cost optimization
  • Manage the operations budget including forecasting, variance analysis, and cost improvement initiatives
  • Ensure SOPs are documented, maintained, and continuously improved across core operational processes
Logistics & Fulfillment
  • Set the global logistics and fulfillment strategy across DTC, Amazon, and omnichannel retail, supported by our logistics team
  • Manage strategic relationships with 3PLs, freight forwarders, and carriers, ensuring partners deliver against performance expectations, continuous improvement goals, and sustainability initiatives
  • Guide the ongoing transition to a new North America warehouse and the long‑term optimization of our fulfillment network
  • Ensure operational excellence for innovation launches and key business initiatives
Risk Management & Leadership
  • Proactively identify and manage supply chain risks related to inventory exposure, logistics disruptions, tariff volatility, and fulfillment capacity constraints
  • Develop contingency and business continuity plans to support operational resilience
  • Serve as a clear and credible voice in cross‑functional planning conversations, helping the business understand operational trade‑offs and opportunities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high‑performing operations and supply chain teams capable of scaling with the business
  • Support additional strategic projects necessary to aid in the growth of Blueair’s operations
Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in forecasting methodologies, S&OP processes, inventory optimization, and multi‑channel supply chain operations
  • Experience with assortment planning and portfolio management, including open‑to‑buy and product phase‑in/phase‑out
  • Track record of supporting fast‑paced innovation, including new product and new category launches, ideally in consumer products
