Job summary

Great Basin College is seeking a Vice President of Student Affairs to provide strategic leadership for a comprehensive student services program across multiple campuses. The VPSA will guide access, enrollment, persistence, and student success with a focus on data-informed strategies and latest student‑facing technologies.

The role demands a Master’s degree, 5+ years in higher education leadership, and experience with enrollment management, budget development, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible higher education administrative experience and leadership in student affairs, including supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated experience in student affairs leadership, enrollment or enrollment management, and student services.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across organizational units.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for a comprehensive student affairs program.
• Lead recruitment, enrollment management, advising, retention, and completion initiatives.
• Oversee technology and data strategies, including CRM, SIS, enrollment technologies, and AI initiatives.
• Foster an inclusive, student-centered environment across GBC locations.
• Ensure compliance with Title IX, financial aid, and student services requirements.
