Job summary

Availity is seeking a vision-driven Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer to shape the company's future growth. You will partner with the CEO and Board to define long-term strategy, identify growth vectors, and lead corporate development initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will drive enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, sponsor transformations, and mentor cross-functional teams across Product,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in strategy, corporate development, investment banking, consulting, healthcare technology, or related fields.
• MBA or equivalent advanced business degree.
• Experience evaluating and executing mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, investments, or divestitures.
• Strong financial, analytical, and business modeling capabilities.
• Demonstrated success influencing executive leaders and Boards.
• Healthcare technology, healthcare services, payer, provider, revenue cycle, or interoperability experience.
• Executive influence and relationship building.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Enterprise Strategy: Lead the development and refinement of Availity's long-term strategic plan.
• Corporate Development: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize acquisition, investment, partnership opportunities; run due diligence and transaction execution.
• Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Growth: Expand Availity's network across payers, providers, and tech partners.
• Innovation & Future Growth: Identify opportunities in healthcare tech, AI, interoperability, and automation.
• Enterprise Transformation: Sponsor initiatives driving growth and alignment; translate strategies into actionable plans.
• Board & Executive Leadership Support: Prepare strategic analyses for Board review and advise the CEO and executive team.
