Job summary

Colossus Search Group is seeking a creative Videographer/Editor to join a Knoxville-based marketing team on a full-time 4-month contract-to-hire basis. The role focuses on end-to-end video production, from concept to distribution across digital platforms, with an emphasis on engaging content for military and public safety audiences.

The ideal candidate has a proven YouTube/Instagram publishing track record, strong Adobe Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve skills, and a portfolio showcasing videography

Qualifications

• Minimum two years full-time work experience in video production.
• Three to five years of full-time professional work experience strongly preferred.
• Proven videography, writing and publishing experience.
• Portfolio of published work must be submitted with application.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of company video production: product, instructional, promotional, sizzle, trade show, social media, educational, etc.
• Lead on story/concept ideation and execution with Design and Marketing Team
• Produce company videos, including shooting, voice overs, animations/effects, intros/outros, scores/soundtracks, talent direction
• Produce videos for digital platforms
• Publish videos to YouTube with optimized thumbnails, Show Notes/Video Description, and article meta tags
• Set up, maintain, and organize studio equipment and assets
• Evaluate requirements and advise technical alternatives
• Handle all video requirements for the company
