Job summary

TESA Research Inc. seeks a VP of Cancer Genomics to lead cancer genomics research, interpret complex genomic data, and guide asset evaluation and external collaborations. This is a high-impact role bridging bench science, boardroom strategy, and data-driven decision making.

The successful candidate will influence research direction, engage with partners, and contribute to non-dilutive funding efforts while shaping the company’s scientific roadmap in an early-stage environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Genomics, Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Genetics, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in genomic study of cancer (tumor genomics, somatic mutation analysis, genomic instability).
• Strong knowledge of biological pathway analysis and how therapeutics interact with cancer pathways.
• Excellent written and verbal communication translating complex genomic data for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Interpret genomic data with biology context and partner with data science team.
• Assess pathway interactions and mechanism-of-action for candidate drugs.
• Participate in scientific due diligence for acquisitions and licensing opportunities.
• Represent TESA in external collaborations and research partnerships.
• Contribute to grant writing to support non-dilutive funding.
• Help shape cancer genomics research strategy and scholarly culture.
• Coordinate with leadership and regulatory teams to align insights with strategy.
