The executive will partner with operational leaders to strengthen accountability and ensure employees have support, information, and authority to work safely.

Qualifications

• Progressive safety leadership experience in construction, materials, transportation, or similar high-hazard operations.
• Ability to influence senior executives and develop teams with accountability across decentralized operations.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety, injury prevention, risk controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience using data and management systems to deliver lasting improvements.
• Credibility with field employees and sound judgment on safety vs. production decisions.

Responsibilities

• Set a compelling safety vision and integrate risk prevention into planning and operations.
• Lead safety strategy across multiple business units and partner with operations and HR.
• Guide safety programs, risk controls, incident learning, and regulatory obligations.
• Develop an effective Safety organization with clear accountability and field presence.
• Improve safety data reliability, leading indicators, and performance reporting.
