Job summary

Bascom Hunter is hiring a Chief Engineer of RF Front Ends to lead the architecture and design of custom RF front ends for airborne, ground-vehicle, and shipboard defense platforms. You will be the senior technical authority for RF subsystems from concept to production, onsite in O’Fallon, MO.

This hands-on leadership role requires you to simulate, review layouts, own RF requirements and budgets, traceability, and verification strategy end to end.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• 15+ years in RF hardware development including receiver/transmitter design.
• Proficiency with RF simulation tools and RF test equipment.
• Track record leading multidisciplinary teams and hardware through qualification.

Responsibilities

• Architect and set RF front-end product hardware requirements and budgets.
• Lead RF circuit design, simulation, layout, integration, and testing.
• Establish verification strategies and qualification evidence.
• Mentor engineers and partner with program managers on baselines and schedules.
