Clear Concepts, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking an RF Analog Design Engineer. You will craft advanced RF and mixed-signal front-ends for rugged embedded computing used in defense/aerospace platforms, collaborating across FPGA, PCB, software, and systems teams.

In this role you will shepherd designs from concept through validation and production, tackling signal integrity, high-speed interfaces, and power architecture challenges while contributing to next-generation FMC/RFSoC products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience designing RF and mixed-signal signal chains
• Schematic capture and PCB implementation experience
• Experience selecting and integrating high-speed ADCs/DACs from TI/Analog Devices
• RF circuits up to 18 GHz
• Digital interfaces to FPGA processing architectures
• Clock generation and distribution design
• Low-noise power supply design for mixed-signal and RF systems
• Hands-on lab testing with RF test equipment
• Collaboration with PCB layout engineers for layout optimization
• Strong troubleshooting of analog/mixed-signal problems

Responsibilities

• Design RF analog front-end architectures for defense and aerospace products
• Develop RF signal paths, low-noise circuitry, and clocking systems
• Collaborate with FPGA, PCB, embedded software, and systems engineers
• Support full product lifecycle from concept to production
• Address signal integrity, impedance matching, and grounding challenges
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural decisions
