Bascom Hunter is recruiting a Chief Engineer of RF Front Ends to lead the architecture and design of custom RF front ends for airborne, ground-vehicle, and shipboard defense platforms. You will be the senior technical authority for RF subsystems, from concept through qualification and production, onsite in O’Fallon, MO.

Qualifications

• Requires advanced degree in Electrical, RF or Microwave Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years in RF/microwave hardware development with end-to-end RF performance analysis.
• Experience with RF simulation tools (Keysight ADS, Cadence AWR, HFSS) and RF test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set technical vision and architecture for RF front-end products and lead trade studies.
• Design and integrate RF front ends, wideband receivers, transmit chains, and multichannel front ends within constraints.
• Establish verification strategies, lead lab characterization, and manage qualification evidence.
• Lead design reviews, mentor RF engineers, and collaborate with program managers on baselines and risk.
