Aurigo is a profitable AI company for capital owners, helping customers plan and deliver over $500 billion in capital programs. We are hiring a Chief Revenue Officer to own revenue and marketing and scale the organization toward our goal of 5x growth over the next four years.
You will work directly with founder and CEO Balaji Sreenivasan, who has led revenue since founding Aurigo in 2003. The public sector remains our largest and most strategic market. You will scale that business and our commercial business in data centers and energy, while staying close to customers, strategic deals, and your leadership team.
We are already closing deals for outcomes as a service, with AI agents taking on planning and preparation work to expand customers' capacity. You will work with Product and Engineering to scale these offerings alongside our subscription business and the forward-deployed engineering practice we are building.
What You Will Own
- Revenue strategy and execution. Set segment strategies, targets, pricing, and investment priorities that support the four-year growth goal. Own pipeline quality, forecasting, and revenue discipline; partner with the CEO and Board on growth and strategic opportunities.
- Public sector growth. Expand federal, state, and local government relationships, including state DOTs and municipalities. Work alongside VP-level leaders and personally engage in strategic deals, complex government procurement, and multiyear enterprise sales.
- Commercial expansion. Scale sales to capital owners in data centers, energy, and utilities. Build on existing customers, refine segment priorities and pricing, and improve conversion and account expansion.
- Partnerships and channels. Develop and scale partnerships and channels across public sector and commercial markets. Set joint go-to-market plans and clear accountability for partner contributions to pipeline and revenue.
- Outcomes as a service. Partner with Product and Engineering to package, price, and scale work delivered by AI agents. Align customer commitments with delivery capacity as we develop our forward-deployed engineering practice.
- Marketing and demand generation. Own brand, positioning, and marketing strategy. Scale demand generation, account-based marketing, and sales enablement aligned with segment revenue priorities.
- Organization and operating model. Lead VP-level revenue leaders, Sales Engineering, Revenue Operations, Enablement, and Marketing. Strengthen talent, accountability, and performance standards, and embed AI into forecasting, pipeline creation, and deal execution.
What We Are Looking For
- A record of personally scaling an enterprise software business into the hundreds of millions in annual recurring revenue (ARR), with direct ownership of revenue results and organizational growth as a CRO, SVP of Sales, or comparable leader. Typically 15+ years of experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
- Deep public sector sales experience is essential. You have led teams through complex government procurement and multiyear enterprise sales, won strategic agency business, and expanded long-term public sector customer relationships.
- A track record of building and scaling partnerships and channels that contribute measurable pipeline and revenue.
- Experience in capital program management or related infrastructure, engineering, asset management, or GIS software is valuable. Experience expanding into commercial markets or selling AI and outcome-based offerings is an advantage.
- Executive credibility, sound commercial judgment, and the willingness to engage personally with customers and coach leaders. You bring the operating discipline needed to scale an established business and a record of developing strong sales and marketing teams.
- Ability to balance investment in an established business with emerging growth opportunities, strengthen operating discipline, and work closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; an advanced degree is welcome.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 12 to 18 months, you will have:
- Expanded the core public-sector business and customer relationships, supported by stronger pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, and sales execution.
- Established a repeatable path to commercial growth in data centers and energy, building on existing customers with stronger conversion and account expansion.
- Established a focused partner and channel program with clear priorities, joint execution, and measurable pipeline and revenue contribution.
- Scaled outcomes as a service beyond the initial deals through repeatable packaging, pricing, and sales practices, with customer commitments aligned with Product, Engineering, and the developing forward-deployed engineering practice.
- Strengthened Revenue and Marketing leadership, demand generation, and Revenue Operations, with clear segment targets and an operating plan tied to the four-year growth goal.
