Job summary

Eskenazi Health seeks a seasoned Vice President of Revenue Cycle Services to provide executive leadership across the revenue cycle continuum and partner with clinical and financial leaders to optimize performance in Indianapolis. This role reports to the CFO and drives financial stewardship, policy development, and strategic initiatives supporting regulatory compliance and long-term sustainability.

The leader will oversee departments, manage budgets, and advance initiatives in reimbursement

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hospital-based experience with at least 5 years in a senior administrative or executive leadership role.
• Experience overseeing complex revenue cycle operations in a high-volume environment.
• Master's degree in Healthcare Admin, Hospital Admin, Business Admin, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management, reimbursement, managed care contracting, regulatory compliance, and healthcare financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for revenue cycle service departments.
• Lead core revenue cycle functions: Patient Access, Financial Eligibility, Coding/CDIP, HIM, PFS, Revenue Integrity, Revenue Recovery.
• Develop and implement policies and performance improvements for revenue cycle outcomes.
• Ensure CMS, payer, HIPAA compliance and organizational policies.
• Drive data-driven performance and accountability across revenue cycle.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and goals.
• Partner with executives on managed care, reimbursement, contracting, and value-based care.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop department leaders.
• Serve on executive committees and strategic workgroups.
• Foster professionalism, respect, innovation and excellence.
