Job summary

Coast Guard Community Services Command seeks a Chief Operations Officer to lead the CGX system across stores, gas stations, and micromarts. You will drive operational performance, strategic execution, and growth while delivering strong financial results

The role oversees a large retail network and directs omnichannel initiatives, customer experience, and enterprise-wide planning to support Coast Guard mission objectives and CSC goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 15 years of progressively responsible retail leadership experience including 5+ years in a senior executive role with multi-unit accountability.
• Demonstrated expertise in retail operations, merchandising, inventory and supply chain management, financial performance, omnichannel retailing, and customer experience strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead CGX operational performance, strategic execution, growth initiatives, and financial results across all CGX stores, gas stations, micromarts, and related operations.
• Oversee 63 CGX stores, 12 gas stations, 25 micromarts and all associated revenue-generating operations.
• Direct omnichannel retail strategy integrating physical stores, ecommerce, fulfillment, and digital engagement to drive growth.
• Set operating budgets, financial targets, and performance standards; use analytics to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Advise CSC leadership on plans, opportunities, risks, and operational improvements; align with strategic objectives.
• Develop long-term strategic plans and enterprise-wide policies for CGX and CSC.
