Job summary

The Coast Guard Exchange in Clearwater, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager I to support daily retail operations, merchandising, inventory, and staff supervision in a fast-paced customer service environment. You will assist in achieving sales targets while maintaining compliance with Loss Prevention and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience in a lead/supervisor role or completion of the CGX Leadership Development program (LDP).
• Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of a retail activity with sales under $14M.
• Oversee receipt, stocking, pricing, inventorying, transfer, replenishment and warehousing of merchandise.
• Interviews, hires, trains or directs training of assigned personnel and coaches for growth.
• Develop promotional sales and manage vendor relations for store operations.
• Open/close responsibilities and weekend scheduling as required.
• Review monthly P&Ls and take corrective action to meet targets.
