Job summary

Gold Star Chili is seeking a Vice President of Restaurant Operations & Franchise Development to lead company-owned and franchised restaurant operations across the Greater Cincinnati area. You will guide field leadership, franchisee support, and strategic growth to ensure exceptional guest experiences aligned with the Service Promise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Operations, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive multi-unit restaurant leadership experience.
• Experience working with franchisees and independently owned operators preferred.
• Proven ability to improve hospitality and guest experience and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for company-owned and franchised restaurant operations.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve sales, profitability, staffing, hospitality, guest experience, and operational execution.
• Champion the Service Promise and hospitality standards across field leaders, operators, franchisees, and restaurant teams.
• Set goals, expectations, and accountability throughout the Operations organization.
• Establish and monitor operating and financial metrics and drive improvement plans.
• Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, restaurant performance analysis, capital planning, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with the CEO and executive leadership on annual planning and long-term growth strategy.
• Build strong relationships with franchisees and support franchise recruitment and development.
