Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an Executive Director of Residence Life to lead the residential life program for 300+ beds, supervise a diverse staff, and align housing with the college’s mission.

This full-time, 12-month role reports to the Dean of Students and collaborates with Operations, Public Safety, and DEI efforts to foster community, student well-being, and safe housing.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience, including supervising staff.
• Experience in undergraduate housing.
• Strong communicator with outstanding interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to design and facilitate impactful student programming.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop a comprehensive residential life program aligned with the college's mission and vision.
• Supervise and oversee staff including Director, ACs, GAs, RAs, and student workers.
• Manage the Residence Life budget and housing assignments.
• Coordinate with Operations/Facilities on maintenance and safety matters.
• Infuse DEI initiatives across residential life in collaboration with campus offices.
• Attend and participate in Student Affairs meetings and college committees.
