Job summary

Olympia Development of Michigan is seeking a senior real estate development leader to direct planning, organization and execution of mixed-use projects in The District Detroit. You will partner with third-party developers, investors and city officials to ensure profitability and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Development or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred and highly valued.
• Minimum ten years of progressive development leadership in mixed-use real estate.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development process for ODM-controlled real estate projects.
• Oversee pre-development, development, and leasing activities including entitlements and incentives.
• Oversee acquisition/construction and upgrades of sites; manage budgets and consultants.
• Negotiate development deals and serve as liaison between Olympia Development, investors, leasers and city officials.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management and alignment with business objectives.
