Chief Project Engineer / Aerospace Engineering Lead

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive and manage project success across cost, schedule, and performance metrics
• Lead development and qualification of electromechanical aerospace systems
• Oversee design, testing, vendor sourcing, and risk mitigation efforts
• Direct and mentor engineering staff while managing departmental standards
• Represent engineering in cross-functional strategy and product planning

About You

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Have hands-on experience with electromechanical actuation systems (gears, motors, drive screws, controllers, etc.)
• Experience managing product development projects from start to finish
• Understand aerospace testing standards like DO-160 or MIL-STD protocols
• Proficient in SolidWorks, FEA tools, and design verification techniques
• Capable of leading process improvement and engineering change initiatives
