The position requires a strong knowledge of high-speed bottling and liquid processing, plant operations, including planning, maintenance, scheduling, processing, packaging, procurement, and project management. The Engineering Manager will work with maintenance to develop a 5-year asset care and replacement strategy, including capital expenditure for packaging lines and processing assets. The role manages 3 Controls Engineers and provides guidance to three Instrumentation and Controls engineers. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. The candidate should be innovative, able to prioritize multiple projects, and work across functions such as Operations, Quality, Safety, Finance, and Procurement.
Lead plant capital projects, ensure compliance with project guidelines, and support the Diageo Plainfield Leadership Team strategy. Provide technical leadership in project management, lead problem-solving teams, and support strategic planning, innovation, and cost analysis. Critical to delivering plant operational reliability metrics.
