STR is seeking a Chief Product Manager for Collaborative Autonomy and Controls in a hybrid setting near Boston, MA. The role leads product strategy, backlog shaping, and cross‑functional collaboration with customers and engineers to deliver CAC capabilities across government and industry markets.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in engineering leadership, expertise in autonomy systems, and a proven track record with agile development and large teams.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related technical field with 15+ years’ experience.
• Expertise in autonomy system and algorithm development.
• Experience leading system and technology development teams.
• Understanding of multi‑agent systems, collaborative operations, coordination and orchestration algorithms, distributed sense‑making and control, and collaborative autonomy stacks.
• Understanding of motion planning, constraint optimization, perception, localization, mapping, controls, and related system performance metrics.
• Ability to lead moderate to large engineering teams (10‑40 engineers) through complete Agile development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience in working with internal leadership and external customers in technology and system development programs.
• US. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Craft, drive, and execute a product development and marketing strategy for CAC capabilities.
• Integrate, test, and demonstrate CAC offerings for opportunities across B2G and B2B markets.
• Shape product development backlogs balancing short‑term program goals with long‑term customer needs.
• Collaborate with customers, end users, and CAC product owners across diverse teams.
• Support product architecture and design reviews as part of an agile process.
