Job summary

Catalis Payments, LLC, a leading government SaaS and integrated payments provider, seeks a Vice President, Product Management to shape the payments platform across municipal, state, and federal offerings. You will own the product strategy, roadmaps, and cross-functional delivery with engineering, operations, finance, marketing, client success, and sales, driving market insights and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
7+ years as a product manager in the payments industry or related field.
Strong understanding of payment processing technologies, including card networks, digital wallets, and payment gateways.
Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Trello.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the payments industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in the payments sector.
Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
Develop and maintain a product strategy aligned with business goals and market demands.
Define the product roadmap, prioritize features, and manage the product backlog based on business value and customer impact.
Partner with the development organization to create processes around prioritization of the backlog and addition of items to the roadmap
Track progress against our roadmap commitments
Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, marketing, client success, account management, and sales teams to define product requirements and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
Lead the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch, including defining product specifications, creating user stories, and overseeing development sprints.
Drive product launches, including coordinating with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, messaging, and promotional materials.
Monitor product performance metrics and KPIs to track success and identify areas for improvement.
Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to internal stakeholders, including executives, team members, and other relevant departments.
Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including customers and partners, to gather feedback and insights.
Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the payments industry.
Ensure that products and services comply with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
