Job summary

Kindred is seeking a Head of Product Design to lead our product design team through its next growth phase. You'll own the end-to-end member experience across web and mobile, lead and grow the design and research team (currently five), and work directly with cross-functional leaders to shape where the product goes next.

• 12+ years in product design.
• 5+ years leading design teams.
• Experience with marketplaces or communities.
• Proven collaboration with marketing and brand.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a cross-disciplinary design team spanning product design, research, and content/UX writing.
• Set design vision and strategy aligned with company goals across product, engineering, marketing and operations.
• Own the quality bar for member experience, from big surface-level shifts to details that build trust.
• Build and scale design systems, tooling, and processes to support growing teams; lead an AI-native design practice.
