Job summary

Atlanta Housing seeks a Senior Vice President, Contracts and Procurement, to lead a modern, data-driven procurement function across planning, bidding, vendor management and contract administration. You will drive efficiency, compliance and strategic alignment with the agency’s goals.

The role requires 7–10 years in procurement-related roles, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of public sector procurement principles. Must oversee complex contracts and collaborate with executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with seven to ten years of related experience.
• Experience in contracts, procurement, and vendor management in a public or large organization.
• CPM/CPPO/CPPB certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a comprehensive Contracts and Procurement strategy aligned with the Agency’s plan and priorities.
• Manages the workflow for bids, RFPs and other procurement methods to acquire goods and services.
• Advises the President/CEO and senior leaders on procurement strategy, vendor performance and regulatory requirements.
• Oversees analytics, policy and procurement planning strategies to improve efficiency and transparency.
