Job summary

You lead a five-person category and SAP contracting team, set coverage strategies, and partner with Finance, Legal, and Operations to drive savings and value across the bakery portfolio.

Qualifications

• Ten to fifteen years of progressive procurement experience in direct materials.
• Proven leadership; ability to build and develop a team.
• Deep expertise in commodity risk management and hedging.
• Experience developing category strategies for agricultural/energy commodities.
• Knowledge of direct Procure-to-Pay and SAP contracting controls.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing across multiple commodity categories and align with corporate objectives.
• Own commodity risk management and hedging programs; oversee market intelligence.
• Oversee supplier contract negotiations and terms to ensure quality and continuity.
• Drive productivity and total cost of ownership improvements.
• Direct Procure-to-Pay operations and SAP governance; ensure SOX compliance.
• Hire, develop, and lead a team of five category and SAP contracting managers.
