Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of purchasing and inventory-management experience; experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory or team-lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and inventory forecasting to ensure materials are available at the right time and cost.
• Develop and oversee supplier base; negotiate pricing, service levels, lead times, terms, and supply commitments.
• Ensure purchased materials meet specifications and documentation requirements before use, with certificates, safety data sheets, and traceability.
• Maintain inventory controls and cycle-count/physical-inventory programs; reconcile discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with plant management and other departments to optimize inventory levels and replenishment parameters.
